Led several initiatives and later the entire team of Engineering Strategic Business Initiatives whose primary objective was to pursue new work processes to improve engineering tools and efficiency. Responsible for generating a Project execution Plan, the scope of work, schedule and man-hour estimate, estimated expenses, and presenting the proposal to management.

Initiative to compare & evaluate vendor technologies, recommend the preferred solution, configure, test, and implement the Aspen Basic Engineering (ABE) software, which was a transformational project that required breakdown of discipline silos and resistance to change.

Managed initiative which simulated SmartPlant 3D (SP3D) on a detailed engineering furnace project using company standards to perform modeling by all disciplines for comparison to the Intergraph PDS program, to produce deliverables, transfer of data to SmartPlant Materials (SPM), and identify and resolve any issues prior to live implementation.

Led initiative to standardize the use of SmartPlant P&ID across major offices which required significant conflict control, compromise, and leadership skills to gain trust and achieve alignment from diverse perspectives.

Managed process engineering tools and knowledge base. Developed and maintained software engineering tools which were utilized by the Global Process Engineering Department, primarily included creating tools to automate the engineering design process from simulation and design work, generating design specifications and various project deliverables. Responsible for training engineers globally on the suite of engineering tools which included S&W Process departments.

Worked as a process design engineer completing several process studies, grassroots design, revamp design, and proposal work for several types of large capacity olefins process units. Specializations include cold fractionation, refrigeration, cracked gas compression, caustic removal and treatment, and utilities design. Design areas of specialty include vessel separations and distillation tower vessel and tray design including Ripple Tray® design. Responsible for technical quality review and approval of process design work from simulations to equipment design and project specifications. Assigned to the technical proposal team and responsible for performing feasibility calculations and NPV evaluations, writing technical proposals, presenting to clients, and responding to technical inquiries.
