The Urban Design Forum is an independent membership organization that advances bold solutions to urban challenges. Our Fellows are architects, landscape architects, planners, developers, public officials, scholars, activists, lawyers and journalists committed to building dynamic, equitable, and resilient cities around the world.

Lead the research and strategic planning for Common Projects Newburgh, a design initiative that explores the intersection of film, design, and public space to advance new and bold ideas to shape an equitable and sustainable future for the City of Newburgh and Hudson Valley region. Led the fiscal sponsorship process as well as a successful crowd funding campaign and grant applications, raising over $50K for our first initiative.

• Manage external outreach to priority partnerships, and studio meet and greets with Snøhetta Partners and Directors• Track long lead opportunities across the United States and Canada to support Business Development goals• Lead and support quarterly business development reports for the Snøhetta Advisory Board• Developed a system to manage strategic and priority partnerships with consultants/clients, and expand the studio's leadership engagement• Closely collaborate and manage proposals and business development initiatives in a matrixed organization across all teams in the studio, including the Managing Partner, Founding Partner, Partners who direct the New Business Team, Directors, Operations, and the Accounting teams• Manage and support teams on fast-paced proposals and interview prep with competing deadlines. Proposals for architecture and landscape design services included performing arts centers, museums, libraries, streetscapes/public realm, parks, waterfront resiliency, a climate research center on Governors Island (2nd Place Finalist), mixed-use developments, innovation districts, and master plans

Core design team member in the development of a diverse range of complex projects and master plans, including: • The Master Plan of Penn Station for the MTA• Empire Station Complex Master Plan for Empire State Development• Governors Island’s Center for Climate Solutions (3rd Place Finalist)• Apex Place, affordable housing for Phipps Neighborhoods• Webster Apartments, a historic women’s residence in NYC

Design of public installations & urban design strategy for Newburgh’s first film festival, which took place October 2019.

The Legacy Cities Initiative is a national network of community and government leaders working to create shared prosperity and bring attention to the common needs and collective importance of these older industrial centers. The initiative seeks to promote sustainable and equitable revitalization of legacy cities by convening leaders, stakeholders, and scholars; facilitating the exchange of ideas and practices; and researching and advancing new policy approaches.A project of the Lincoln Institute of Land Policy, the Legacy Cities Initiative supports the exploration and implementation of innovative strategies and policies. Together, we advance cutting-edge state and local policies in support of urban areas nationwide, and we promote research to address legacy cities’ common challenges and opportunities and build a more equitable, sustainable, and prosperous future.
