Team Tennessee, Living Light: Team Living Light, made up of over 100 students and faculty from seven campus departments, is one of twenty university teams selected to compete in the US DOE Solar Decathlon 2011. Responsibilities include maintaining information flow and organization, scheduling team activities, resource management, budgetary oversight, assisting in the development of competition deliverables, contract development and negotiation with consultants, developing funding and collaboration proposals, coordinating monetary and in-kind project gifts, managing sponsorship fulfillment, building and maintaining relationships with organizations and corporations, and representing the team at regional and state events through participation and presentations.

UT Zero Energy House PrototypeParticipated in multidisciplinary research, design, and construction of a zero energy house prototype. Specific roles and responsibilities included working closely with a team of students through construction document and shop drawing preparation, system fabrication and installation.Team Tennessee: Living LightMember of multidisciplinary team responsible for authoring and submitting a successful proposal to the Department of Energy for the Solar Decathlon 2011.
