The Gates Scholarship, funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, is one of the most prestigious and selective scholarship programs for outstanding high school seniors in the United States. Each year 300 outstanding student leaders are recognized from a pool of 37,000+ applicants.

▪ Designed and manufactured PCBs to integrate Arduino Nano, GPS sensor, and temperature sensors for a marine drifter that will track debris patches in the ocean▪ Utilized Altium Designer to draw the schematic and layout the PCBs ▪ Compiled code to allow Arduino to output data from multiple sensors simultaneously

Investigating summertime co-occurrence of pollution and heat extremes over the Eastern U.S.A.▪ Analyzed two decades of data to investigate the summertime co-occurrences of ozone, pm2.5, and heat index in the United States and identified population regions most at risk for air pollution▪ Wrote Python scripts for data analysis and utilized libraries and packages such as Matplotlib, NumPy, Pandas, and Rasterio▪ Worked with CESM data to analyze statistical trends of co-occurrences

▪ Researched and designed social media posts to highlight speakers for the 2nd Annual Aspen Ideas Climate Festival▪ Researched sustainability in terms of fashion, music, and more to incorporate these industries into the climate space for future Aspen Climate Festivals
