The Guidance Center is a mid-sized behavioral health organization of about two hundred and twenty employees providing a full array of outpatient and inpatient services for children and adults, including a 16-bed psychiatric hospital.Amy was asked by the Board of Directors to maintain operations of the organization following the sudden resignation of the previous CEO and during a time of significant financial stress the organization was experiencing. In her role, Amy stabilized finances and was able to increase the organization's cash on had to six weeks, from less than 30 days. Concurrently, Amy worked intensively with Human Resources and staff at all levels of the organization to stabilize employee turnover.

Sweetser is one of Maine’s largest and oldest behavioral health organizations providing services for all ages including residential services for children and adolescents. Sweetser saw rapid growth between 2000 – 2010 due to mergers and acquisitions with similar sized behavioral health organizations. By 2011 approximately eight hundred staff provided outpatient and residential services throughout southern and mid-coast Maine.• Provided budgetary, administrative and clinical direction of nine office locations in four regions with a down-line of approximately fifty staff serving consumers of all ages utilizing a recovery and resilience model in rural Maine. Managed a multi-million dollar budget in one of Sweetser’s largest program areas.• Accomplishments:o Developed a just-in-time integrated system of care model to ensure timely & appropriate services to consumers of all ages and backgrounds ensuring consumers received the right amount of service when it was needed
