Power League is the bridge between traditional recreational leagues and select club - competitive, goal-oriented, and powerful! thunderboltvolleyball.comTasked with developing, writing, and standardizing new athlete benchmarks - with curriculum to match. An extensive analysis of said benchmarks resulted in 8 curriculum levels spanning two USAV age groups. This curriculum is aimed at preparing athletes for the next level of play - raising them from beginner to advanced, and raising them to skills appropriate for select club or high school teams.Responsible for the organization and scheduling of season games, registrations, customer service, season practices, season tryouts/evaluations for two recreational leagues, consisting of upwards of 200 athletes and over 20 coaches. Create training programs for both coaches and athletes. Observe coaches at practices and games and give valuable feedback to help them grow. Moderate conflicts between parent/customers and the league to find amicable solutions. Spearhead the 'Holiday Giving Annual Tournament' that allows our recreational league to compete in a tournament that raises not only awareness of our league, but awareness of a local food pantry, and collects canned goods and other essential items for this food pantry to serve them through the holiday season. From scheduling teams in bracket play, reserving gym space, coordinating with food pantry, collecting items, scheduling volunteers (refs, judges, scorers, concessions, box/deliveries) - this is a time consuming and rewarding event!Recipient of 'Most Celebrated Coach' award for 2023.Use of Google Drive and League Apps software
