In my 7+ years as office manager, my position required me to:* be organized and ready to assist with anything my supervisors might need* be skilled with Microsoft Excel spreadsheets and Word* assist with payroll production* coordinate events including guest lists, invitations, responses, supplies, and refreshments* assist staff with any needs within my job description; help them find who to go to as well* consult with department heads and supervisors as necessary * collect and coordinate deposit and warrant invoice batches * collect and coordinate library Friends organization vendor payments and deposits * handle common supplies inventory, orders, and deliveries* update Administration manual details as needed * create meeting minutes boilerplate(s) and assure that the approved minutes are distributed and posted properly* handle appropriate pressing matters in supervisor's absence* process new and resigning staff paperwork and coordinate with HR * be efficient * ensure that all calendar punch lists are completed* be personable  * take initiative as appropriate * handle visitors, phone calls, emails, faxes, and mail for administration * whatever else it takes to help the library staff perform their jobs in a friendly, productive manner
