The Music Photo Gallery (TMPG) exhibition at Pionero Club Cultural includes a selection of works by canonical rock photographers Bob Gruen (New York, 1945), Ebet Roberts, and Mick Rock (London, 1948-2021). TMPG operates between Buenos Aires and New York City. Included in the exhibition are portraits of Tina Turner, Debbie Harry, The Clash, The Sex Pistols, Freddie Mercury, Patti Smith, David Bowie, Sid Vicious, and others. Prints include originals and signed, authenticated duplicates. Alternating between english and spanish, I am responsible for explaining the history, significance, and artistic merit of each work to our clients. I facilitate the sale of each work from introductory remarks to payment. At times of high volume, I deliver a prepared speech that explains the history of the photographers and their subjects to our clients. I apply extensive knowledge of music history, spanish, and sales techniques, while building a loyal client base and fostering a sense of community for Pionero Club Cultural, to ensure the continued success of the gallery and venue at large.
