I administered the Development Department for Beyond Shelter and work not only to raise funds via government, foundation and corporate sources, but also to assist in administering the grants and work with Beyond Shelter's finance and program reporting departments.

I work approximately 70 percent of the time as a professional writer of fiction, nonfiction, and writing business plans and online content for business development.

Everything you see on the website, including the heart, I had a part in making. Some people who worked with me have passed on. Others are still involved. There is a beautiful center there, a historical building was brought back to life, and hundreds of families were assisted to find jobs and places to live. Now, there is even a child care center and Christmas Shop has a super home, and the "clothing room" and pantry is a wonder to see.
