I’m a third-year creative writing student at Lancaster University looking for work experience in the written media/arts industry.I’ve had a lifelong passion for writing character-driven work, producing my own pieces in various formats which address themes of marginalisation and mental health, though have taken a preference for scripted work in the recent year.Having taken GCSE and A-Level Art, alongside a Foundation year, in Art & Design, I also have a keen interest in anthropomorphic character design, producing commissions since 2018. On the side-line, I love to create my own original characters and produce short, experimental animations and storyboards of them.I have experience in several technical components of film, using a Canon EOS 100D and Fujifilm X-S10 for all of my photography and camerawork with experience in both image and video editing on amateur-level software.As a member of SCAN Lancaster, I write articles for the Screen section which tend to concern new features and trivia about animation, an industry I find fascinating in its unique approach to visual storytelling. Other societies I am involved in at Lancaster University are Take2 Cinema, in which I function as the Social Media Manager on the exec, and Lancaster University Theatre Group as a backstage assistant.I've directed work for LUTG (Lancaster University Theatre Group), alongside stage managing and scriptwriting.In my spare time, I enjoy keeping animals, and researching into both old television footage and anthropomorphic fiction.
