The Sunny team envisions a world characterized by kindness and meaningful relationships. As humans, we crave closeness, companionship, and community. Yet despite all the ways we are linked digitally, research shows that many of us have fewer real connections with other people than ever before. Long before the pandemic, our circle of close relationships, even with family members, was shrinking. That paradox was the inspiration for Sunny.Sunny helps you take small actions that boost your happiness and strengthen your real-world social connections. Deepen your friendships and expand your social connections through small, science-based actions that anyone can do. Say thank you. Text an old friend just to say hi. Encourage someone you run into today. Be kind to yourself.Sunny’s menu of prompts and ideas was inspired by the research of leading behavioral science experts. Taking these small daily actions not only boosts our own happiness — it creates a ripple effect that uplifts others, making our neighborhoods and communities better places.Small actions lead to big changes. Through my company, Live For Life Media, I have been writing and producing educational and medical media for the American Heart Association since 2007. I am passionate about healthy living, and feel honored and privileged to share the message of the AHA with their audience. I list this as my position because over the last seven years, nearly all of my work projects relate to the AHA or their partnering institutions like Duke University Clinical Research Institute or cooperating organizations like the American Cancer Society & American Diabetes Association.

We're primed and ready to launch our first app with our Appy Camper edutainment & eLearning team. Co-developers are Ethan Long, Tim Steinhouer, David Wallace, & Tim Bobo. As a team, we are responsible for all learning, interactivity, story development, and user engagement.

I write and produce engaging eLearning, marketing content, and educational video media. I enjoy research and crafting customized content with your audience's needs in mind. It is my hope that together we can provide your users with a media experience that sticks with them long after the program is completed.
