Prior to joining Better Impact's team in 2016, I spent years volunteering as a youth leader, committee member, and event scheduler for a non-profit in my community. I remember how rewarding and enjoyable the experience was. I also remember that it was often difficult to keep track of people's skill sets, completed trainings and hours. Communications weren't easy but it was easy to forget who had been sent what.My journey supporting the voluntary sector has continued. However, now I am assisting nonprofits in their search for a software solution - one that allows those managing volunteer programs to spend more time engaging with their volunteers and less time doing the time consuming administrative tasks that can devour one's day and enthusiasm.
