This is how I got to where I am now ...In 2007 I graduated from Newcastle University with a 2:1 degree in BA (Hons) English Language and Literature. I then converted to law by gaining a Distinction in the Graduate Diploma in Law at BPP Law School in Manchester. I completed the Legal Practice Course at Chester College of Law in 2009, again achieving a Distinction. I commenced my training contract with Halliwells LLP in March 2010 and transferred to Gateley LLP in July 2010.During the course of my training contract, I completed seats in Real Estate, Employment, Banking and Commercial Dispute Resolution. I qualified into the Commercial Dispute Resolution team at Gateley on 1 March 2012.I was the Secretary on the Committee for the Manchester Trainee Solicitors Group from 2010 to 2011. I worked at Irwin Mitchell LLP from March 2013 to December 2013. I then transferred to TLT LLP in December 2013 working as a solicitor in the Banking, Finance and Real Estate Litigation team based in the Manchester office.I worked as Legal Counsel within the in-house legal team at TalkTalk between 2014 and 2017. Outside of work, I enjoy playing netball (when my dodgy knee allows), open water swimming (when the weather allows) and spending time with my family and friends.Finally, and although it happened over 10 years ago now, still the most interesting thing about me is that I once appeared on the TV quiz show 'The Weakest Link' ... and won!
