My passion for public service and youth development drives me to pursue a degree in Public Service Leadership at Northern Illinois University, while working as a Youth Program Assistant at Elk Grove Park District. I have an Associate of Arts degree in Social Work from Harper College, and multiple certifications from the Illinois State Board of Education.As a Youth Program Assistant, I coordinate and supervise various programs and activities for children, such as camps, school days off, field trips, and before and after care. I also conduct employee assessments, site inspections, and supply ordering, ensuring quality and safety standards. I have developed strong customer service and administrative skills, using RecTrac software to manage records and registrations. I enjoy building relationships with parents, school staff, and community partners, and addressing any issues or concerns they may have. I am a detail-oriented, positive, and professional team player, who can also work independently and adapt to changing needs. I am proud of my accomplishments and eager to learn and grow in my field.
