As the Director of Marketing at The New York Community Trust, I find creative and powerful ways to share the impact of New York City, Long Island, and Westchester's community foundation and largest funder of nonprofits. I am also on the board of Cause Effective, a great group that strengthens other nonprofits.Since I joined The Trust, I've done every communications-related job known to humankind, many times over. I've created communications and marketing strategies, helped inspire people to turn their generosity into action. I've produced several videos, taken powerful photographs, and produced dozens of printed pieces that tell The Trust's stories.When Warren Buffet's Giving Pledge launched, I created a popular advertising campaign for The Trust: Give Like a Billionaire, which was featured in Forbes Magazine. I've helped potential donors, nonprofits, and other foundations understand our work by illuminating the impact of our grantmaking. I've landed stories in major outlets including The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Metro New York, WNYC, Crain's New York Business, Inside Philanthropy, Chronicle of Philanthropy, Stanford Social Innovation Review, Forbes, and others.
