Research Intern (Medium contributor)- Reducing the writing-to-publishing time by 50% while adding personalized insights and references. - Experienced the expectations of running an international think tank.- Gained knowledge about orienting AI for urban planning, pioneering urban diagnostic technologies, and AI governance. Excited about further building knowledge in the field through Columbia coursework in statistics and urban studies.

- Participating in project design, data analysis and interpretation, modeling and simulation, literature review, and scientific writing;- Gaining familiarity with state-of-the-art methods and techniques used in contemporary mathematical and statistical modeling;- Proposing and developing research project and presenting at the Columbia Undergraduate Research Symposium in Fall 2024.

- Producing editorial and journalism photography for press events, architectural projects, and Untapped Insider Tours across New York City;- Conducting research and interviews to publish arts and culture pieces on Untapped New York's website, newsletters, and social media, generating thousands of views;- Articles include: New York Botanical Garden's 2023 summer exhibit, list of eco-friendly buildings, and “The Fight to Preserve Coney Island Hospital's Oldest Building”.

- Working with editors, photographers, illustrators, and a copy team to publish event, profile, and investigative articles, committing 10-20 hours per week;- Conducting short and in-depth interviews with architects, artists, data visualization designers, researchers, and program directors;- Publishing pieces including "With AI art, is the future already here?" and "Bringing Back Urban Swimming to Manhattan: A Deep Dive into the Plus Pool Project" exploring architectural design, municipal policy, engineering innovation, and public participation;- Undergoing training in journalism ethics, Uni and City News, service journalism, narrative reporting, multi-media journalism, data visualization, copy editing, illustration, photography, videography and podcasting.

- Selected for a Gold Award [Impact Category] in the international competition Creative Conscience UK;- Working with 50+ students and delivering over 100 hours of upcycling sessions with over 200 pieces of unwanted clothing collected from clothing drives and Auckland Red Cross;- Designing and promoting branding materials and creating upcycling starter packets for schools around Auckland;- Sharing upcycling tutorials and leading workshops that made denim containers, scrunchies, tote bags;- Together with a team of passionate highschool students, we made an upcycled mural with paint and magazine paper for the North Shore Hospital in 2020 to support healthcare workers.

- Creating our school's sustainability report for 2020;- Designing infographics for waste-related statistics;- Acting in a campaign that raised funds for purchasing and installing solar panels and water tanks at Kristin School which now covers the energy usage of our main football field and Lightbox Multi-purpose Sports Centre.

GirlBoss Edge: Primary Industries Edition is a highly selective leadership accelerator programme for high school aged young women. Through this 10 day programme, I underwent high-level leadership training and received transformative mentoring from New Zealand's leading primary industry professionals. I worked in collaboration with the Ministry for Primary Industries to solve real world problems through the 'MPI Challenge'.
