Amy Zawislak is the Local Impact Fund Project Manager at the Social Investment Business (SIB) - a pioneering social investment specialist that first piloted investment into social sector organisations in 2002. Today SIB manages one of the largest social investment portfolios and the most significant investment readiness programmes in the UK. Local Impact Funds are a new social investment product that aim to bridge the gap between supply and demand for social investment from local communities. The first pilot Local Impact Fund, Liverpool City Region Impact Fund, draws on £1m from the European Regional Development Fund and £1m from SIB. Prior to taking up this role in April 2014, Amy worked in the charity sector for eight years managing a range of programmes providing organisational capacity building support to social sector organisation, and five years in the public sector managing a cross sector Single Regeneration Budget (SRB) funded community regeneration programme and Local Government funded voluntary sector grant programme.Amy is an experienced project manager with experience in managing a range of external funds, including European Structural Funds, and supporting the development of the social sector.
