Tax Intern

As a bookkeeper in JTT EMS LTD, I conducted daily bookkeeping duties including depositing incoming checks, paying invoices and resolving discrepancies in order to ensure that the company account is balance and clear. I was also invited to join the ERP implementation team due to prior knowledge of US ERP systems.

In this role, I balanced trust and business accounts using Quicken and QuickBooks and deposited incoming checks, disputed and paid invoices. I also updated the master list of accounts and expenses and screened accounts daily for unusual transactions to maintain the integrity of the firm’s finances.

As an accounting assistant, I provided support to accountants with billing and payroll functions by leveraging my advanced knowledge of Excel to prepare workbooks to manage billing, payroll, and time sheet calculation, along with other financial data.
