Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technician
・Trained 35 Tunisian soldiers and 2 Libyan soldiers in support of Operation African Lion. Taught Unexploded Ordnance (UXO) identification, Improvised Explosive Device (IED) identification, use of UXO/IED detectors and special demolition techniques. ・Created and taught courses of instruction for seven Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) team members. Courses covered IED/UXO detectors, energetic tools, explosive firing devices, special explosive charges, safe transportation of explosives, and identification of Home Made Explosives (HME).・Provided EOD emergency response services over a nine-state area. Responded to 5 incidents, spending over 200 man hours to dispose of 28 explosive threats.・Provided Very Important Persons Protection Support Activity in support of United States Secret Service・Filled secondary roles of unit armorer, transportation manager, and vehicle fleet manager.
