I am a computational nuclear materials researcher with experience in fuel waste separation and long-term storage, as well as structural reactor materials. Proficient in advanced techniques such as density functional theory (DFT), molecular dynamics (MD), and the phase-field (PF) method, I am dedicated to making a meaningful impact on our world through scientific endeavors. Professional Background:  Leveraging DFT, I have explored relevant phenomena in waste treatment, specifically ionic exchange in zeolites, and storage systems, focusing on the behavior of clay buffer materials. My work has also involved studying solvent extraction processes for fuel waste separation using MD. Employing PF simulations, I have modeled fracture phenomena in structural reactor materials, particularly in the context of helium irradiation. Personal Background: My purpose is to be a positive force professionally and personally. I often remind myself to be mindful and intentional with being broad minded so that I can optimize growth.
