Permanently house individuals and families in Santa Barbara County. Support clients be documentation ready for housing opportunities, such as ensuring pay stubs, verificationand identification is all current. Provide basic needs support such as clothing, bus tokens and gift cards.Work in partnership with Housing Authority of the County of Santa Barbara with Resident and Supportive services to ensure housing retention of residents. Assist with food distributions at multiple sites by ensuring food is ready and distributed to residents, residents are entered in link2feed and materials/supplies are stocked. Also assisted with creating programming flyers and newsletters for multiple sites.

Transport food and supplies to the venue, set up tables and food service equipment, serve guests, and clean up once the event is over. Provide training support with new and temporary services by educating them with special event etiquette, synchronized serving, and set up and brake down process.

Return phone calls of potential clients seeking record clearing services and complete intakes while explaining expungement process. Coordinate community legal clinics for potential outreach opportunities with organizations in Santa Barbara County.

AmeriCorps Member- provide housing and case management support for clients through document readiness, identification support, and other community support needs.

Filing court cases and updating U-Visa application for clients. Also worked as a paralegal at the Legal resource center and provided Spanish speaking support for clients to prepare for court documentations.

Create graphics with language accessibility regarding local social justice topics that include:educational equity, law enforcement accountability and share updates about local officials and law enforcement. Take notes and report back on community meetings- by attending meetings, creating graphics for community and taking community feedback of local issues.

Ensure committees are running smoothly. Complete grants and requirements needed for funding while ensuring accurate data is reported for funding requirements. Advocate for youth at local government level and research new policies that may benefit Juvenile legal cases in a statewide policy level. Complete case management case load for youth and their families to prevent recidivism and ensure success of youth and their family well-being.

Provide case management for youth with alcohol and substance abuse. Lead group session for clients to transition into recovery services and create an individualized safety plan for each client. Complete administrational duties for the benefit of the organization as a whole.

Trained in STOP Program through the County of Santa Barbara to be able to facilitate classes to individuals with domestic violence cases with Batter’s Intervention Program. Would facilitate classes for men, women and Spanish speaking clients. Keep client files up to date and prepared for court to report back on each individual's progress.

Answer incoming calls and provide trouble shoot support for clients with household phone lines while provide each client assistance in promptly and efficiently manner. Contribute to the overall positive morale in the office by creating bonding activities with employees.

Assist clients in finding the best product available for their beauty needs and completing their transaction with my cashier register training. Provide educational product support to each client with the upmost positive customer service experience.
