I'm passionate about writing, research, entrepreneurship, travel, sustainable development and business, and getting to know as many cultures as possible. My curiosity and thirst for new journeys and knowledge are never quenched. Am creative as well as organized in my work (can somehow make some kind of order out of the chaos of juggling multiple tasks and meeting tight deadlines). I have an artistic side in my singing and fiction and poetry-writing. Have had experience living, studying and working in Brazil, the United States, Denmark, Poland, and Germany, as well as shorter periods in Switzerland (internship) and Mozambique (research). Have earned a PhD with a mix of social science, international development and history focus from the University of Leipzig and also have interned for international organizations and worked in journalism. Have run my own business. In teaching in business school, I try to provide a nuanced and interdisciplinary view on topics, blending my academic and practical experiences and know-how. Finally, I speak English, Portuguese, Spanish, French and German.
