I graduated from Brigham Young University with a BFA in Dance that emphasizes ballet and contemporary technique, choreography, and pedagogy. While at university I have worked multiple times with The George Balanchine Trust, The Gerald Arpino Foundation, Paul Taylor Dance Foundation, and Jose Limon Dance Foundation to learn American classics with BYU’s top ballet company, Theatre Ballet. With this company I have been able to perform regularly and across the US. I have also been able to choreograph multiple works for the university’s second company, Ballet Showcase. Before coming to college, I trained at Ballet West Academy under direction of Jennie Creer-King. Beyond ballet and contemporary training, I am a firm believer in expanding one’s horizons. I hope to be a life-long learner in all styles and dance-related areas.
