To enhance the Latinx/immigrant/LEP community’s health literacy and access to linguistically and culturally appropriate medical and mental health services. This will increase the community’s utilization of health services, particularly for controlling chronic diseases, fostering healthy lifestyles, obesity prevention, and utilization of preventive and screening services providing a full range of services. The Community Health Worker will offer language appropriate health information, outreach and education, including culturally appropriate patient education. As a Paramedic I was responsible of first response emergency procedures including vital CPR techniques, providing the most extensive pre-hospital care. In addition to carrying out the procedures of the other levels, administering drugs orally and intravenously, interpreting electrocardiograms (EKGs), performing endotracheal intubations, and using monitors and other complex equipment. In an emergency, dispatched by a 911 operator to the scene, working with police and fire fighters. Once I arrive, as a paramedic I assess the nature of the patient’s condition while trying to determine whether the patient has any pre- existing medical conditions. Following medical protocols and guidelines, providing appropriate emergency care and, when necessary, transport the patient.

As a Lead Fitness Instructor, I was responsible to maintain an up dated status for all Certifications needed to meet my job, and will assure that each contracting instructor possess valid and current credentials and certifications and provide copies to the Corporate Office, also eligible to conduct Certifications Workshops.Responsible for the daily, successful operations of the contract site, this includes, but not limited to, the fulfilling of the statement of work, human resource management of all the employees/contractors and positive interaction with all associated personnel.
