About Ana I. Lorente

After finishing my Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (2014), I've been conducting research in several fields:1) Injury biomechanics and kinematics of vehicle occupants (sled tests with volunteers, dummies, and PMHS). [2014-2018]2) Gait analysis with computational models (OpenSim): alterations with deformities in the spine [2016] and patients with a hip prosthesis [2020].3) Neck kinematics: flexion-extension of the cervical spine [2016] and upper cervical spine kinematics [2017-present; Ph.D. project].🇧🇪 🇫🇷 🇩🇪 Research stays in KU Leuven (Belgium, 2015), ENSAM ParisTech (France, 2016), and Orthopedic University Hospital Friedrichsheim - Frankfurt (Germany, 2020). 🎓 Mechanical Engineering (Bachelor's degree, 2014)🎓 Biomedical Engineering (Master's degree, 2016)🎓 Biomedical Engineering (Ph.D., 2022)
