🎩 Throughout my career, I have been fortunate to wear many hats in the theater industry. As a performer, teacher, director, writer, producer, stage manager, voice actor, puppeteer, and techie, I have seen firsthand the transformative power of theater in education as a tool for positive social change.🧳 My journey began in Venezuela where I worked with Teatro UCAB, Fundación Medatia, and Producciones Palo de Agua. I also had the incredible opportunity to tour internationally with AGOTeatro, performing in Liverpool (Canada)and New York (USA.) I continued to hone my craft through studies and collaborations with Teatro de los Sentidos in Barcelona (Spain) and La Maison de l'Equilibre du Genre in Paris (France.) I am a proud Board Member of Quake Theater (USA) and an associate of The Actor´s Space where I have continued to grow and develop my skills.🎭 Currently based in Barcelona, I regularly work with Jocular Theatre and am an avid comic improviser performing regularly with the Watch This Space Improv Community. I have also collaborated with Espai Debut and Sala Beckett, IPA Productions, Escapade Theater, Barcelona Improv Group, and Barcelona Improv Festival. In 2020, I became a content creator, writer, and researcher for the RoundGlass Learning Collective (India and the USA), developing online courses, articles, and workshops on art, education, and well-being.🖌 In 2019, I founded Teatro del Sótano, a non-profit association dedicated to the research and development of socially-aware theater expression through devising and collective creation. Sótano has participated in various festivals and developed two original works: “Irse,” a theatrical poem about immigration, and “The Clock Struck 13,” a mythical journey into the concepts of femininity and masculinity.🌎 My passion lies in continuing to grow, learn, write, create, and collaborate through the meaningful weaving of the arts, education, social change, and media innovation. I bring my unique vision, extensive experience, unwavering commitment, and a good sense of humor to every project I undertake. Keywords: Independent Contractor | Content Creator & Editor | Theatre Professional | Writer | Lecturer | Artistic and Logistics Manager | Producer | Team Leader | Collective Creation | Content Curation | Script and Playwriting | Artist | Performer | Puppeteer | Theater in Education | Wellbeing and the Arts | Theatre Director 🫖 I´m open to expanding my network, let´s connect: ana.ocallaghan@gmail.com🤓 Follow more of my work:📱@teatrodelsotano | @ocalannie 💻 www.teatrodelsotano.com
