Ana Salinas has more than 20 years of experience in the deregulated electricity and natural gas industry in the U.S. Prior to joining 7-Eleven, Ana has held positions in product development, structuring, and marketing. Ana has a rare combination of skills: the link between the commercial business and IT, understanding both the business strategy and technical sides of the equation. She is a natural problem solver, with a particular eye for looking at process inefficiencies and innovating with business solutions. Ana excels in cross functional positions since she has always been eager to learn, having finished her MBA in International Business while working full time for a large retail electric company in Houston.At Energy Edge Consulting, she has supported the sales team in advisory and analytic roles for more than 10 years being the subject matter expert in all deregulated areas of electricity and natural gas in the U.S. Ana is a number person but more than that, she can see how data driven analysis won't persuade a client to use a consulting firm like Energy Edge but rather how the meaning behind those numbers will, explaining how it translates to the customer's bottom line.In addition to her relevant business experience and academic credentials, Ana is community driven.
