Ana is an energy advisor who helps to navigate the complex and dynamic energy landscape. She has over 40 years of experience in managing international subsurface oil and gas projects across the value chain in more than forty countries in Latin America, Africa, the Middle East and Europe. Ana held several executive and leadership positions, including boards, based in Spain, Brazil and Norway and working, first at Repsol and later at Equinor. With a strong track record of project execution, Ana's core competencies include strategy and leadership, collaborative and transformational management, joint ventures and strategic alliances, risk management and control, corporate ethics, company culture and sustainability and compliance. Ana served as a senior executive in Equinor, being a member of different management committees and participating in several strategy transformations. She also represented the company in external forums and initiatives on driving the energy transition, leadership, and gender and racial empowerment. Ana used her global expertise and passion to improve organizations and inspire high-performing teams to provide accessible and sustainable energy to society. Today, she is providing consultancy and strategy advice on Energy, natural resources and new economic/energy models, active public speaker, participant in leadership forums and mentorship programs.
