Choreographer, dancer, and teacher with over 22 years of career experience, graduated from the "Jaime Arôxa Dance School" in Rio de Janeiro. I was a Coordinator and Teacher for the social project "Bem dos Pés à Cabeça (From Head to Toe)," catering to underprivileged children. Showcased my talent at the Rio Carnival, the largest celebration of its kind in the world, as part of the choreography group led by Jaime Arôxa, which brought gafieira samba to the Sapucaí for the first time. I have also played significant roles in other Samba Schools.Currently, I am one of the most representative of the Brazilian community in Western Australia (WA). I hold the position of Co-Director in my company, recognized for the remarkable work with Brazilian dance. My work as a choreographer and dancer in a major production , with the play “A Girl From Rio” at the Perth Fringe Festival garnered critical acclaim. I was nominated for the WA Multicultural Awards, a highly esteemed event in WA, graced by prominent figures such as WA Premier Mark McGowan and the Minister for Citizenship and Multicultural Interests, Dr. Tony Buti and also nominated the Best of Brazil Global Award. I collaborate with various communities and groups, leveraging my image and expertise to unite and support each of them. I am frequently featured in interviews on radio, and social media, where I share my inclusive vision.As a dancer and choreographer at one of Australia's most renowned gay clubs, Connection Nightclub, participating also in the grand parades of the Gay Pride events. I choreograph the Queen Musical, for the Applecross Senior High School, creating routines inspired by the music of the band Queen, showcasing my versatility as an artist. I have been invited to appear in a music video for an Australian band and perform in numerous shows for various bands. My presence is notable at the biggest carnivals and events in WA. With my innovative choreography, blending forró, gafieira samba, and carnival elements, I secured third place in Perth's Got Talent, an international students event. I teach Brazilian dance to children in the "Cabana Project," helping them connect more deeply with our culture. I offer free classes to women who have experienced domestic violence and deliver dance performances at nursing homes with the Dance to Heal classes. Academically, I hold a Bachelor's and Full Teaching License in Physical Education, with post-graduate degrees in Adapted Physical Education and Health for Special Groups, as well as Musculoskeletal Rehabilitation.
