Assistant Investigator (contract Ciência 2007) within the Neuron Glia Biology in Health and Disease group (iMed.ULisboa), Faculdade de Farmácia, Universidade de Lisboa (FFULisboa). Focused on the study of central nervous system pathologies, particularly brain tumors and neurodegenerative diseases. More recently, her research explored new hybrid molecules to treat brain tumors using a preclinical approach.

Post-doc student under the supervision of Professors Dora Brites (FFULisboa), Claudio Tiribelli (Centro Studi Fegato, University of Trieste, Italy) and Domingos Henrique (Faculdade de Medicina, Universidade de Lisboa). Focused on the study of mechanisms of nerve cellular response to neurotoxic agents: influence of cell age and proliferation/ differentiation processes.
