Ana Sofia Graça was born in Lisbon in 1983. In 2006, she has finished her 5-year degree in "Applied Mathematics and Computation", with final score of 18 (out of 20), in Instituto Superior Técnico (IST), Technical University of Lisbon (UTL). From October 2006 to January 2011, Ana was a PhD Student of the "Phd Program in Information Systems and Computer Engineering" at IST, performing her research at INESC-ID Lisboa. She was also a visitor PhD Student at University of Southampton, UK (Oct 2007 - Jun 2008) and at University College Dublin, Ireland (Oct 2009 - Apr 2010). Ana was also a teaching Assistant of Artificial Intelligence classes at IST (Sep 2008 to Feb 2009). Ana's research work contributed for around 12 papers in international journals and conferences.From February 2011 to the present, Ana is an Assistant Professor of Faculty of Engineering, Catholic University of Portugal. She has taught Analysis of Algorithms, Architecture of Information Systems and Compilers.Currently, Ana Graça works at Maksen Consulting, in the Industry of “Financial Services & Insurance”. She has participated in data warehouse projects for International Financial Institutions.
