I love a great challenge. I love having an opportunity to grow and put my own mark on things. I care deeply about my job and co-workers and take great pride in my work. If I don't know how to do something, I figure it out. I believe in fighting the good fight, but know when to say "enough." I was lucky enough to have a job that I was able to make my own. And was never more proud of the work I did than with The Pilot's Norfolk Compass, a weekly publication that was distributed to readers of The Virginian-Pilot newspaper living in the city of Norfolk. I am proud to say that readership went up during my tenure as editor, and I was able to make more of a mark via social media outlets.
