At ACKO, I worked in Health Insurance (B2C) LOB focusing on user-centric design solutions that enhance customer experience and operational efficiency. Key Projects:1. Post-Policy Issuance Endorsements: Built the post-policy experience by designing an intuitive system allowing customers to modify policy details without repurchasing. This initiative, not only streamlined the process for underwriters and customers but also significantly improved user satisfaction.2. Assisted Sales Call Enhancement: Led the transformation of the sales call journey, aiming to optimize the insurance agents' efficiency and enhance customer interaction. Key achievements included boosting proactive call-back requests which directly contributed to a boost in policy sales, improving turnaround times, and introducing 'call scheduling', which personalized customer support and streamlined the sales team's workflow.3. Quote Screen Optimization: Tackled a 20% user drop-off on the newly redesigned quote screen by refining the flow, component placement, and copywriting, which successfully set clearer user expectations and improved engagement.4. ACKO Discounts Strategy: Designed the conceptual framework for ACKO discounts, targeting long-term customer loyalty and cross-selling opportunities for other LOBs. My role included creating engaging card designs and identifying strategic entry points to maximize user engagement and sales.Designathon Achievement: Our team 'The Convertibles' secured second prize in internal designathon. We tackled a challenging problem for ACKO Drive, crafting a unique physical experience for car repair/service in ACKO garages, promising a seamless and efficient customer journey (can't share more details). Impact and Collaboration:Each project has been marked by a steep learning curve for me, refining my craft as I led design initiatives. Collaborating with product and tech teams, I tackled design challenges and enhanced both UX and business outcomes.
