• RF Main Transmitter (TX) / Receiver (RX) for GSM / UMTS - Optimized layout and schematics to maximize TX power without sacrificing overall performance, and to minimize radiated desense (EMI). - Evaluated and characterized components such as PAs (Power amplifiers), duplexers, filters, and matching circuits to perform system budget calculations and to validate the system’s performance per industry standards (3GPP).• WLAN (802.1a/b/g/n) and Bluetooth BR (Basic Rate), EDR (Enhance Data Rate), and LE (Low Energy) - Responsible for the design, development, bring-up, debug, and industry product certifications such as Bluetooth SIG, Wi-Fi Alliance, and FCC compliance testing. - Responsible for schematic and PCB layout design, evaluation of hardware conformance testing, co-existence, interoperability, and interference testing. - Supported prototype and mass production factory builds in remote location factories.• Experience with Android OS and QUALCOMM chipset based smart phone development, architecture design, performance optimization, and validation for various wireless carriers and regulatory bodies using QC proprietary test and development tools.• Worked closely with factory and various vendors for part design and quality issues. Managed BOM and root caused failures from the factory and reliability labs.• Experience working in mid-tier and low-tier mobile devices. (Moto G and Moto E handset generations).• Experience with various design, and debugging test equipment and software tools: QUALCOMM QXDM, QRCT, QSPR, ADS, CADANCE, Agilent WTM, CMW Run, CBTgo, Agilent Virtual Front Panel, Agilent 8960, CMU200, CMW500, Agilent GS-8800 system, Rohde & Schwarz CBT, Agilent N4010, and spectrum analyzers among other test equipment.
