I am a highly motivated clinician, passionate about patient care, and deeply committed to educating patients and their family members about their respiratory disease, care options, treatments, and maintenance of their specified disease process. I proficiently utilize different positive pressure machines and modes to correct central and obstructive sleep apnea. I also effective utilize a variety of respiratory monitoring solutions to monitor trends in post operative patients, patients weaning off the ventilator, and in patients who have required the oscillator or nitric oxide. I have applied my critical thinking skills to successfully treat patients requiring ventilatory assistance who have acute respiratory disease syndrome, pneumonia/sepsis, H1N1 flu, pulmonary fibrosis, pulmonary hypertension, and to also manage patients who have acquired single and double lung transplants. I also have experience in providing effective care from a rehabilitation standpoint for patients who have sustained a spinal cord injury and traumatic brain injury. With experience in the respiratory field for over twelve years, my objective is to share and provide insight and knowledge to patients, family members, end-users, and stake holders.
