Contracting Client: Kindred Hospital• Prepares and maintains technical documentation used in supporting our systems.• Prepare test plans, coordinate, and conduct functional, interface, and integration testing• Creates test scripts, sample test data and scenarios to ensure accuracy of data and appropriateness of transmissions• Participates in the integration testing with other clinical systems and confirms and documents interface updates.• Develops current and future state data flows using Mirth Connect.• Provides day to day support for interfaces including proactive support and monitoring.• Works with interface engine developers to develop data translation routines and methods to support the Protouch EMR clinical applications• Maintains strict consistency to system security policies and procedures and protection of patient confidentiality in accordance with Federal laws regarding HIPAA.• Work collaboratively with other Information Technology teams for implementing and supporting the clinical systems• Troubleshoot, analyze, and implement effective solutions for system related problems• Designs Interface Dashboards using Power BI to show message status• Develops SQL queries used in creating ad hoc reports to meet specific departments need

• Conducts business analysis, data modeling, logical and physical database design, database optimization, load strategy design and implementation, security and change management.• Create, manage, and maintain reports using standard reporting technologies. Maintain and manage a centralized data dictionary.• Ensure best practices are utilized in defining business processes, including identifying and reporting on trends and deviation• Ensure adherence to company data architectural guidelines, principles and standards in all project milestones and deliverables.• Work with team to optimize system performance• Create appropriate documentation to support effective requirements definition including charts, graphs, and logic model diagrams as necessary.• Analytical skills which effectively deal with conceptual and tangible ideas along with attention to detail.• Working knowledge of the IT development process and life cycle, i.e., roles/responsibilities, tasks, milestones, deliverables. • Team oriented with ability to work effectively with many different people across many diverse organizations.
