They are fighting for a fairer internet and a more inclusive tech ecosystem. I worked with Doteveryone to form their launch strategy. My role was to research existing communities with overlapping goals, and connect with them by establishing a series of events. These events enabled us to create our message and begin to build an effective network to pursue change.Here East, Social & community consultant (January 2015 - present) Here East is a home for those who work in technology, education and creative industries. It covers 1.2million sqft on London’s 2012 Olympic Park. Since 2015, PYPR has been working with digital agency Poke to design, build, and implement an agile content strategy using a variety of platforms.Responsibilities:- Create social strategy for long and short form content targeting Here East audience groups, from CEOs to makers and local residents.- Design social content for Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, Periscope, YouTube and LinkedIn. - Overseeing daily management of all social accounts.Other clients: Organisations come to PYPR when they need help understanding the startup tech landscape and want to engage with the community. We help them achieve this through curating and designing events, creating content strategy and through video documentation. We’ve delivered these services for British Council, Digital Catapult, Wired Sussex, Plexal, Maker Assembly, CrowdJustice, CTRLio, BuggyAir, IoTA & IoT Meetup.

I concepted the video, wrote the copy, secured support from high profile funders (Facebook, SAP, BBC), created and implemented social strategy, organised the launch event and delivered the rewards on completion. - Responded to relevant news cycles to further the brand as part of our social strategy. For example, I led a campaign against Sir Eric Pickles’ attempt to change planning permission laws in Shoreditch that would negatively impact our members and appeared on BBC London to argue the case.- Designed and produced a series of events to enable our community to network, gain expertise, and help them succeed.

FounderTvbomb 2008 - 2014Edinburgh, United KingdomWhilst studying for my degree, I established TVBomb, an online arts magazine covering theatre, lm and music events in Edinburgh and Glasgow. I built and managed a team of 30 volunteers to help run the site and create carefully curated content. Building TVBomb, I learnt how to create an online media pro le and build a community around the product. On my departure, I handed responsibility to a group of university students who have since rebranded. We were achieving around 15,000 uniques a month with no paid promotion.
