My role is to support the regional entrepreneurial & innovation ecosystem towards digital transformation. Through the @Digital Innovation Zone initiative - the only European Digital Innovation Hub in the North-East Region, Romania. DIZ offers support to SMEs and public healthcare institutions to increase their digital maturity through a range of customized programs; offer them access to relevant test before invest and experimentation facilities for Artificial Intelligence and other key-enabling technologies, and their use cases in healthcare and manufacturing.Help organizations develop internal capabilities (employee upskilling) that will lead to successful digital transformation, while guiding them to overcome access to finance barriers,Connect the North-East region with the EDIH EU network, by developing corridors for missing regional expertise,Create synergies for the region with the EIT Health network, other EIT KICs, Enterprise Europe Network, and prestigious research & innovation organizations in the field of AI.Continuously grow the community by integrating relevant stakeholders, for the benefit of the region and of the business community.

Startup Activator is a project financed by the Human Capital Operational Program 2017-2020 with ESF funds. The main objective is to finance 75 startups - Micro enterprises in the North-East Region Romania. The North-East Regional Development Agency is one of the project partners and is responsible to finance 30 mincro enterprises' business plans with grants up to 40.000 Euro and monitor the implementation.

The main objective is to finance 48 startups - Micro enterprises in the North-East Region Romania. The North-East Regional Development Agency is one of the project partners and is responsible to finance 15 micro enterprises' business plans with grants up to 40.000 Euro and monitor the implementation.

My focus is to facilitate connections and support the startup enabler organizations & all the stakeholders involved in the creation/development of the Romanian Startup Ecosystem. ROStartup – Romania’s Startup Ecosystem Strategy is a joint, (public and private), action initiative, aimed to support the development of the first strategy for the Romanian Startup Ecosystem. The initiative is a multi-actor collaboration financed by the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Structural Reform Support (DG REFORM) and led by the North-East Regional Development Agency (NE RDA) in partnership with Rubik Hub and supported by the World Bank Group (WBG). Together we work to grow a strong and competitive national entrepreneurial ecosystem environment and transform Romania into a leading Startup Hub, both at CEE Region and at European level.
