The position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure and time constraints, and I must constantly problem-solve and think on my feet. Part of my tasks include:• Deal with customer enquiries courteously over telephone, email and face-to-face;• Advise customers on the best equipment to suit their needs;• Accurately book the gear from our branch, request transfers from London or try and source it externally by sub-hiring from other companies to fulfil the contracts;• Arrange courier deliveries and collections to and from the customer;• Deal with deliveries of sub-hired rental equipment (i.e. from our London branch);• Test and clean equipment to ensure it is in full working order and up to standards; • Prepare the rental contracts going out and check the equipment upon return;• Set up new accounts and conduct fraud checks;• Process payments, handle deposits and customers’ data in compliance with GDPR.On Saturdays I also cover the sales desk, dealing with sales, repairs and trade-ins.Additionally, I assist with stock takes and support workshops on site. Over the years, I covered a wide range of briefs on a freelance basis. I documented the behind the scenes for CBeebies Christmas Special "Hansel and Gretel", assisted Ben Blackall, Matt Squire and Rachel Joseph, was the main photographer for Salford Triathlon 2019, second shot for wedding photographer Joanne Jacobs, as well as covering other weddings on my own. Whilst acting as a Digital Reporter for the Cornerhouse, I photographed rehearsals for Library Theatre's final production, The Seagull, having my photos adorn the official programme and The Guardian Guide. I've also done a number of headshots and completed briefs for my personal pleasure - amongst them, editorial fashion shoots, conceptual work, landscape, street, travel and architecture. Some of my work has been exhibited at the BBC Open Centre, Fresh Collective and at 70 Oxford Street. Additionally, I assisted Vogue Italia published Miss Aniela at one of her Fashion Shoot Experiences in London. My role at Jessops covered a broad range of tasks. I was one of the few people selected to act as a Digital Reporter for the Cornerhouse for the period of a year, attending various training workshops (such as Social Media for Businesses, Blogging, Video Recording and Editing, Sound Recording and Photography) and working on photographic tasks for them and The Library Theatre.Some of the work I've produced was published in The Guardian Guide and included in The Seagull's programme.
