Ana-Cristina is proud to be leading the organization’s development, communications, stewardship, events, and education teams as the Chief Goodness Officer. Mobile Loaves & Fishes empowers communities into a lifestyle of service with the homeless and is the visionary nonprofit behind Austin’s innovative Community First! Village, a 51-acre master planned development that provides affordable, permanent housing and a supportive community for the chronically homeless in Central Texas. The Goodness Team works hard to evangelize the mission in all that they do to bring greater awareness to the vital work of MLF in our community.

• Responsible for the day to day operations of Saint William, the largest parish in the Diocese of Austin with over 6,700 registered families on 30 acres, 7 buildings, and over 60 part-time and full-time staff• Fiscal oversight of a $3.8 million budget and $35 million in assets• Integral part of the annual budget process• Managed 7 direct reports, while also responsible for the whole staff• Drove transformation of new organizational structure• Led change management on Operations Team and Executive Level• Created new positions, job description, and executed hiring process• Created, implemented, and ensured accountability of new policies and procedures that created more efficiency and job effectiveness across the organization• Owner’s representative at all meetings and main decision maker for 37,000 sq ft building project with architects, construction company, sub-contractors, building committee, and parishioners• Ran the business operations of the organization in conjunction with the Pastor• Collaborate and work with various parish leadership to achieve parish goals

• Recruited by Pastor to create, establish, and execute development program for Saint William• Created strategy to manage fundraising needs for a church budget of $3.2 million• Led and executed capital campaign for 37,000 square foot parish evangelization center, $9 million goal (95% collected, at this time)• Implemented new technology to increase efficiency and ease to raising funds• Reduced debt by $1 million each year during tenure• Increased Fall fundraiser revenue from $40k (best year) to $140k = 250% increase• Cultivate relationships with parishioners, community members, and foundations to strengthen funding sources• Increase the visibility of Saint William through events, advertising, and sponsorship opportunities

• Create, establish, and execute development program for Cathedral of Saint Mary (3,000 families) and Cathedral School of Saint Mary (150 families)• Work closely with pastor, finance council, parish council, school board, and key parishioners to execute the development plan • Cultivate relationships with funding sources as grant writer and supervisor of established and new funding sources provided by Catholic and community foundations• Coordinator for Cathedral sponsored events and special guests. Two main events included 8th Annual Spring Gala (200 attendees) and Fall Festival (1,000 attendees)• Facilitate all media communications including, but not limited to print, social, radio, and televised media

• Responsible for all matters related to the execution, management, and support of fund raising activities• Plan and supervise direct mail, phone-a-thon, special events, and other solicitation activities as needed• Plan and supervise the production and distribution of newsletters, brochures, and other marketing materials in support of the campus ministry

• Work with students who lived in the housing communities that fed into Zavala Elementary school by providing one-on-one support, tutoring, and after school activities under a partnership between CIS and the Housing Authority for the City of Austin• Promoted to Program Coordinator of the Pebble Project, a child abuse prevention program• Planned, implemented, supervised over 200 child abuse prevention program to elementary school students presentations in over 50 schools to over 7000 students per year, as well as speak to various community and professional groups on the issue• Assessed immediate risk of abuse and/or neglect and made appropriate referrals to Child Protective Services• Provide agency support, training, and supervision to staff and volunteers as well as manage budgets, monitor expenses, and responsible for all quarterly and end of year reporting• Created, wrote, and produced promotional video that highlighted project history, current status, and hope for future to be used for fundraising purposes
