Hi!I am a friendly, positive and funny person, that likes to create a good work environment. I am a team player, always open to learn and improve my skills, both personally and professionally.My organisation skills, dedication, hard work and attention to detail have been crucial to my work as Research Associate and to be able to handle different tasks simultaneously and ensure everything runs smoothly.I am passionate about science and drug discovery, and to be part of the process that can impact positively society. I started my scientific journey with a Bachelor in Biochemistry and focused on neurobiology in my bachelor project. Afterwards I did a Master in Biochemistry and my passion for neuroscience continued to grow, so I took the opportunity to do my Master thesis focused on neurodegenerative disorders at VIB Discovery Sciences.My skills include biochemical and cellular assay development, cell culture, AlphaLISA, Flow Cytometry, BLI, ELISA, nanobodies and compound handling and screening.In my free time, I love to do sports, read and be with my dogs. Running is another passion and it taught me how to be more resilient and trust the process to achieve better results.I am always up for a good conversation and to take on new challenges, so feel free to reach out and connect with me.
