In charge of creative team which includes a remote graphic designer, a videographer/photographer and a content specialist. Main responsibilities include giving direction for any creative/art in any of these fields, planning creative for marketing campaigns and coordinate creative team to accomplish these. Close collaboration with Marketing Director establishing goals and strategy for each of our clients.Establishing creative processes for check and balances of the work flow and needs of the team. Finding ways for better collaboration and execution in the creative process. Also, take lead in any design or majorweb design project.

Leading and over-seeing creative projects as well as providing quality art and creative direction. Design of brands and brand elements such as identity, website and marketing materials both digital and physical.Development of Wordpress-based websites. Collaboration with social medias strategist, videographer and photographers to make sure client’s brand guidelines are being followed. In charge of company’s brand, from website to marketing materials.

In charge of laying out and designing the content for the biweekly student newspaper. Deadlines are a big part of this job as well as teamwork; it is crucial to meet deadlines as a team. The newspaper pages are divided among 3 designers and once finished it is put together collaborative. Some occasional ad design for advertisers may also be requirement.

Front desk duties, answering phone calls and greeting incoming visitors. In charge of filing clippings of any kind of media mentioning NMSU on a daily basis, this includes reviewing newspapers, websites and Local TV stations. Since this department focuses on the Media Relations of NMSU it was also a requirement to publish news releases through an online database as well. Filing was a very big part of the position, placing old records in the online database was a daily task as well.

Responsibilities included creating social media images, promotional items, development of infographics, and branding items. Organization works at a national level, therefore, materials had to be suitable for multiple demographics.
