Embedded Software Engineer
Current- Projects/Teams: Google Fiber (USA), Frontier Communications (USA), Windstream (USA) - Broadband Solutions Team- Responsibilities: - Development of enhancements and maintenance of various modules of embedded software on Sagemcom Gateways based on Sagemcom's SWAN middleware: XDSL, LAN, WAN, LED. - Generation of embedded firmwares for DHD chipsets (External Dongles). - Preparation of specific firmwares from generic firmwares based on SWAN middleware. - Analysis and bug resolution. - Development and maintenance of gateway and extender systems: WPS pairing. - Analysis and correction of kernel and hg6d crashes. - Monitoring topics related to Broadcom: analysis and integration of provided patches. - Integration and maintenance of the BSP (Board Support Package) part. - Customer support and collaboration with the Friendly team for troubleshooting sessions. - Management of integration requests for three projects, ensuring firmware delivery to clients. - Investigation and resolution of compilation errors.- Environment: - Hardware: Sagemcom residential gateway based on Broadcom chipsets. - OS: OpenWRT cross-compiled on Linux Socle distribution. - Programming languages: C, C++, XML. - Tools: Gitlab, Jira, Wireshark, Docker, SwanCi, Jenkins.
