Responsible for the technical design, implementation, maintenance and support of the firm’s enterprise systems, including document management, accounting, collaboration, database as well as other client/server, web based and hosted applications. In conjunction with the firm’s support and technology adoption groups, has responsibility for technical design, implementation and maintenance of desktop applications and standard computer configuration. This position will be filled by an experienced software/systems engineer with a high level of project management and documentation skills. 1. Actively participate with the IT Director, IT staff and vendors to select products, design, implement, maintain and support the Firm’s enterprise systems and desktop configuration.2. Identify business requirements, industry best practices and appropriate products to provide advanced software tools, workflows and processes in support of business operations and legal teams, including Accounting, Records, Human Resources and Facilities Management groups.3. Perform limited development in SharePoint and other platforms in the firm’s portfolio of products, such as Intapp Open. Oversee and manage more complex development projects using staff, vendors and consultants.4.Manage and execute projects in the implementation of enterprise systems and desktop applications. 5. Take ownership of the implementation and support of software management tools, such as Spiceworks and Microsoft SCCM, in order to inventory, update, monitor and provide standardization of the firm’s desktop configuration.6. Microsoft SQL administration. Oversee and manage more complex DBA requirements using staff, vendors and consultants.7. Create and maintain documentation related to the systems and processes for which this role is responsible.8. May be the point of escalation for support requests. Mentors and cross trains other staff members as appropriate.

Manage the Firm’s Network Server Infrastructure, Storage, Back-Office, and Business Continuity Facilities. Research, install, analyze, test, and evaluate applications, systems, policies, methodologies, processes, and procedures to ensure that the Firm’s Server Infrastructure and facilities meet the Firm’s expectations and Service Level Agreements for availability, performance, growth, and functionality.• Work interactively and proactively with the IT Department at large as an advisor to achieve the Firm’s goals and to ensure the Department’s success on its projects and initiatives. Counsel the department as a subject expert as part of an integrated strategy to deliver technology to the Firm.• Provide general support as required for “all hands” IT projects.• Consult with IT at large to promote proper use of the Firm’s servers and Systems as part of all initiatives• Participate in pilot testing and training of new software being evaluated.• Provide mentorship and training to other IT staff in areas of expertise.• Provide Third Level application support to Help Desk.• Assists other IT staff as required to meet Service Level Agreements.• Escalates support incidents, internally and externally, in accordance with established procedures.
