Curator & WriterFreelance Oct 2017 - Sep 2023Paris & MexicoI conceived, developed, and managed innovative site-specific solo shows, collaborative projects, performances, screenings, and talks; as well as drafted texts for art centers, galleries, and independent spaces in France and abroad.- Together with artist Julien Creuzet, created a lecture performance mixing dance, music, poetry, and narrative stories with choreographer Ana Pi and musician Mbalango during is solo show at the Palais de Tokyo in Paris. - Conceived and developed solo shows with new commissions by Columbian artists Daniel Otero Torres, and Swiss artist Martin Chramosta.- Conceived a video program presenting for the first time in Mexico the work of artists Monira Al Qadiri, Korakrit Arunanondchai, Madison Bycroft, Julien Creuzet, Pauline Curnier Jardin, Pierre Paulin, and Tabita Rezaire.- As an advisor for museum exhibitions, I joined artist Julien Creuzet, representing France at the 2024 Venice Biennale, during a time of spectacular growth and used my knowledge and expertise to improve his strategic and artistic development (14th Gwangju Biennale, Palais de Tokyo).- Conceived and developed a relational performances program taking place in a sculpture setting in Copenhagen; and an exhibition gathering artists in duos drawing on Robert Filliou's work "Danse-poème collectif" by mixing performance, poetry, experimental music, and visual arts in Paris.- Co-founded the curatorial platform Heiwata based in Toronto, Mexico City, and Paris from 2015 to 2020: researched emerging art scenes; pooled of resources, networks, and artists; introduced the work of Georgia Dickie (Canada) and Ivan Krassoievitch (Mexico) to a french audience.- Built relationships with a rich community of artists, art professionals, and institutions in France, Europe, and internationally.- Ran successful fundraising campaigns, drafted and received grant applications, and mobilized French, Canadian, Swiss, Dutch, Danish, Spanish, and European diplomatic partners.
