-Plan special events, along with cultivation, marketing, and recognition functions-Oversee production of all print and virtual relations and marketing materials, including newsletters, updates and annual reports-Direct the maintenance and upgrades to the organizations websites and public information communications.-Increase the donor's base and direct the activities to diverse types of communities

- Perform crisis intervention and counseling.- Mentor and assist youth (and parents) in adjusting to new shelter environment upon entry into the program.- Maintain appropriate assessments, reports and case notes throughout stay.- Serve as a liaison between the area schools’ officials and SOH’s Children Services staff; including working with the HISD homeless outreach workers and assisting the youth and the families to ensure provision of school services.- Teach, develop, coordinate and implement the spiritual, educational and recreational curriculum and activities for the program.- Create new social service relationships through new contacts, business meetings, trainings and other such community events notifying Supervisor of all new contacts and potential new relationships.
