I'm a final year PGDM student with a keen interest towards the field of Statistics and Business Analytics, currently pursuing my Post Graduate Diploma in Management with specialization in Business Analytics from St Teresa's college, Ernakulam.Ever since my intermediate studies mathematics was my favorite subject and to further expand my knowledge in the area of my interest I opted for the BSc Mathematics programme, offered by Union Christian College, Aluva as my major in under graduation. It was during my course of study that I developed a strong passion towards the field of statistics and analysis and came to realize that one of the major applications of statistics comes under Business Analytics. Statistics mainly focuses on analyzing and interpreting data and majority of the statistical techniques are directly useful in business analytics. Hence considering the interconnection between both these fields and particularly my foundation in statistics, I chose Business Analytics as my specialization in PGDM.As of now my knowledge in MS Excel, R programming, SPSS, SQL, Python, DBMS and Data Mining has helped me enhance my skill set and hands on practice. I have even tried gaining more knowledge by doing short term online courses on Excel and SQL. Currently I'm working on my final year project which is on the topic "Predictive Analysis on YouTube Trending Videos and the Factors Influencing User Engagement with YouTube Videos". Besides my technical skills I'm a self-motivated and a creative individual who is positively looking forward for an opportunity to kick start my career as a business analyst or as an intern in an esteemed organization where I can utilize my knowledge in business analysis to identify problems, understand it and rectify them by providing innovating solutions for the firms growth.For further information you can reach out to me at : anakhamurali1620@gmail.com
