Working in the Operational Risk Management Unit. As a Financial Control & Operational Risk Management Specialist my main task are:• Facilitate risk and control workshop sessions with business divisions on process analysis, identification and assessment of risk and controls, including key risk indicators, event collection and other risk management tools; • Ensure our internal control system process is executed in accordance with the COSO Internal Control Framework, including walk-through, assessment of control design and operational effectiveness, representation memorandum process, and process flow documentation.• Monitor and support Management’s efforts to implement significant corporate initiatives, such as system implementations.• Support the project to configure/update SAP Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC) tool ruleset, identify potential segregation of duties violations and test mitigating control effectiveness.• Provide input to periodic risk reports to Senior Management and the Board’s Audit Committee including the Bank’s operational risk profile, for corporate processes, and the status and results of the assessment of effectiveness of our internal controls over financial reporting.• Serve as a liaison to the Bank’s external and internal auditors on internal controls on corporate processes. As BWise Functional administrator for the Bank, my main tasks include the following:• Responsible for the functional stability of the BWise application. • Responsible for configuring the applications while providing support to end users. • Responsible for communicating with ICT when updates need to be installed or other technical support is required to maintain the stability of the BWise application.
