First six months working as Customer Services Engineer, which included configuration, installation and maintenance of CISCO 1600, 2600, 3600 and 7200 routers, with all kind of configurations: VPNs, FR, ATM, etc. First and second level support.After the merge of UUNET and Wcom, my team comes to belong to the Worldcom Customer Services Department in Spain. Although the role remains the same, some other jobs have to be covered like Data Transmission support, Customer Repair Department, Voice Department, etc. due to the lack of available resources.• Problem tracking for Frame Relay circuits and voice circuits, interacting with the customers in order to solve them.• Responsible for training and administration of integral tools for customer management (ETMS, BITS, GTT), undertaking the necessary functions for the proper development of these tools and interacting with other international departments (Germany, Holland and Italy).• Responsible in Spain for name service management (DNS), which included configuration and administration of name servers (BIND on Solaris).
