Buying Agent
• Manage 3 departments and manage over 15 people for growth in leadership, communication, business processes, and promoting a safe and healthy work environment.• Develop and implement new or improved processes and procedures to comply with a variety of pharmaceutical and other business-related regulations and law.• Coordinate new hire orientation, training, and personnel management seminars for employees as well as locals in the community looking to grow professionally; conduct in-service training related to the procurement system and processes.• Office administration and accounting duties such as preparation of invoices and financial records, budgeting, IPD reports, weekly monthly, and yearly financial and sales reports. Buyer - • Work with pharmacy departments to develop and maintain inventory management processes and cost controls such as order templates, product standardization, group purchase orders, etc., to ensure accurate contracts, pricing agreements and timely delivery of supplies.• Utilize strong negotiating skills to obtain the best vendor, offering the best service, pricing, and terms for all medications and product within my scope; work with vendors to recuperate any money spent having to purchase off-contract because of unavailability.• Provide resources for standardization of products and requests for new product by obtaining comparative detailed quotes and creating spreadsheets for analysis; maintain automated dispensing device operations, including the monitoring of par levels an on-hand inventory supplies, utilizing data and reports in the decision making.• Utilize supply chain systems and processes to coordinate procurement activities and negotiate finally pricing for goods and services including equipment, GOP and service contracts, and supplies for networks and organizations.
